For a several months now, we've been working on putting together this compilation book, comprised of 15 artists as a showpiece! Finally, it's done and ready for sale!
A handful of the artists I'm sure many of you here on DA will recognize, but there's even more in the book that are talented and much less recognized. We wanted to bring this lot together to display all of their talents, and give the lesser known people a chance to get their work published~

I've been extremely busy as of late and I haven't been able to do anything artistic for myself except tegaki, which is kinda lame. All of my free time goes to doodling there, which is relaxing but at the same time not really helping my sanity.
I dunno, I can always upload my tegaki's here but I always feel like they are nothing special. I want to just sit and render something super cool but I feel overloaded. Haven't touched my physical sketchbook for weeks and when I do, I can't help but be as blank as the paper.

HMM idk, I thought about doing the 10 sketches to get me out of my rut but then again I probably wouldn't have the time to sit and sketch them out.
Excuse the rant I guess I'm just a little lost, you guys probably don't really care what I upload here anyway lol.

Going to start working roughly 48 hours a week, starting this week so it's kinda hectic. But hectic in a good way because I do for the most enjoy my job.

Advice, comments, lectures all appreciated DERP

Ok things have been going pretty good,
I got commissions and it was so helpful for Otakon. I just recently got a job and I start monday! Yaaay I don't have to live in a cardboard box.... for now wait till those student loans come in, orz

anyways I still have a couple commissions to finish, sorry for the delay.
At the moment my commissions are closed until I need some help again xDD

so that job hunting thing isn't going well at all. It's pretty much at a standstill.
Opening up another chance at cheap commissions.

Money is tight and I'm still somehow scrapping barely enough to go to Otakon, but no enough to pay some of the bills that have been rolling in.
Any commission big or small would be a gigantic help!

second... Otakon is coming up fast and I don't really have many cosplays planned, which is unfortunate. I've been working out recently to get in shape to finish a Vanya the White Violin cosplay. If that doesn't turn out (i.e: I don't loose enough weight) I really want to have another cosplay that I'll probably wear two days.
So far I can't decide whether to do Alita (Last Order version), Raidou Kuszunoha (SMT: DS), or Black Jack
Problem is that they are all pretty layered costumes and Otakon is known to be hot. Any suggestions? Either name one you'd like to see from what I mentioned or give me another idea (preferably less layers male or female characters)

lastly, I'm thinking of opening up really cheap commissions.
Probably of a full-body colored character like these:

for $10 (per character). Would anyone be interested?
Having a bit of a hard time finding a job and I will need some cash for Otakon as well.
