anyways, school is finnally over for this semester! I'm also very pleased with my grades xD
Now I have to go job searching so I can make some spending money when I go to Rome for abroad next semester (did I tell you guys that?)

Going to make various cosplays durring the summer so I'll be pretty busy,
at least I'll be drawing things for myself and not for school this time xD

nothing else really, just had to update the journal.
This layout might also be temporary (But ILU Augustis! xD )

Oh yeah, saw Speed Racer yesterday.
It was... rather interesting. If you can imagine the show x 100 on acid that was the movie.
It was so damn colorful, and I don't know if that was a good or bad thing D:
Kinda awkward watching it for the first ten minnutes and then I got used to it.
Did speed always have a mom and some mechanic named... Skipper? (was that his name??) I don't know!

Woo, okay back from Katsu.
I must say for being at an art table for no more than 1-3 hours per day I did pretty well. One Piece bookmarks sold pretty well, which I was happy about. I'm trying to figure out what other bookmarks I should do, probably D. Grey Man
It was kinda sad cuz we only had half a table and it was shared by four of us D:
cramped but I had fun. Didn't really make a profit, for the most part I payed back my room and badge

I don't have any pics uploaded just yet but I'll edit this later with them. I just brought Shad and Linebeck.
It was pretty warm too which was really nice, spring-like weather <3

OH I also got to play Brawl there, just once though. I was having such a hard time choosing who to play so I just played as Zelda. The game plays a little slower but I still won, yaaaay

Heyyy yeaah I've been back home now for about a week. Finals went through really great, and I did awesome on my grades.
But uhh I'm still working my ass off Now that I have free time I've been doing nothing but cosplay, it's insane xDD;
My current project is Shad from Twilight Princess. I still have alot to do in only a week and a half. Poor Zoroko still needs to get alot done as well....

My Jacket just needs a few more details added and it will be complete... Wig is done, couldn't get really good pics of it holding the camera myself xD; I'm also very tired in that photo, as it was in the midst of finals xDD

Soooo I don't have my computer so that means no Adobe or Painter... I have a scanner here but no way I can really crop things down or color pics so there's no real point. I'll probably have to actually open my dusty sketchbook and draw traditionally for a change >w< lol

Yeah first of all this really needed to be updated...

Anyhow, I was told not to long ago from ~TheKaraokeNinja that our Obahan cosplay got into the newest issue of Newtype this month. Yaaaay.

Hmmm it's so nice, it's finnally starting to feel like October I'm so happy. The air is cool and just right, so refreshing~~~ xD
And also Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, it always brings a certain mood too. I hope to get enough time to draw a halloween pic to contribute to this wonderous month....

okay I shall do my little rant of how Otakon went xD

anyway me and ~TheKaraokeNinja split up the driving down to Otakon and we followed ~KodyDragon in his car because he had newly acquired a GPS system. Everything went pretty smooth, except me and Renee (=Zoroko) got really car sick, lol
When we got into the city it was pretty hectic because it was really big and there were cars everywhere. We got really intimidated and nervous a bit because we kept trying to get into the parking garage of the Holiday Inn. On the third time around the block we got into a bit of a bumper accedent...long story short I got really panicked which in return panicked Erin and a truck bumped into us (sowy Erin ;_
we were moving slowly so just some paint off of the bumper got scrapped off. <<;
err...sleep deprivation + long drive + car sickness + car accedent = really unresponsive Jing-Chan
yeah... not a good way to start a con xD
on Friday, I must say it was so hard to even get in the door of the con because we kept getting stopped many many times. It was also hard to get anywhere you needed to be just because of the fact that if we stopped for a photo 4-6 more people would stop and take our picture xDD lol
That night was also the night of the Harry Potter release. I wasn't going to get a book but I waited with a friend of mine near a Barns and Noble near the harbor. There was so many people crammed into that bookstore and the heat from the bodies was immense x.x; I was surprised that they were holding little contests with prizes and such like a drawing contest xDD
Since I don't read the books I just helped myself to reading the ending of the book...heheheh
on Saturday I was cosplaying as Tanaka Hajime that day, and I was sure there would be at least a couple Ouendan cosplayers....I was really dissapointed there was only 2, and they weren't really complete cosplay *sigh*. Also most people shouted out "Oh! Elite Beat Agents!"
I just kind of sighed and died a little on the inside. xDD I did have fun as Hajime though, those who did recognize me really appreciated seeing the cosplay, I was glad xDD
Sunday,
Probably the most tiring day of all. No one wanted to get out of bed, everyone was dirty and grimy, just down right dead. After the packing we had finnally managed to get into Obahan One Piece cosplay (I was Sanji of course xD ). But it was probably one of my most comfortable cosplays ever.

Overall I'd say Otakon was very fun. I had a lot more fun at this Otakon then I did at Otakon 2005. I spent around $240 dollars...which isn't that bad when you think about gas, turnpike tolls, hotel, parking, and food for all four days.
